The middle path

Standing at the backstage, without any motion.

Present everywhere watching everyone’s notion.

Afraid of their weakness, they don’t try.

Not wanting to be an acid, they stay quiet.

The burning HCl or the cooling KOH.

The don’t go for right or left but choose the middle path.

They are the sinners knowingly being ignorant.

Not participating in the war they think they are excused by the lord.

But neutrals don’t have a neutral punishment.

It will be fairly brutal like the lord decided.

He is the lord, the judge, who counts your every act.

Don’t take the middle path, hiding in a hole like a rat.
